- Video: Short TED video on attitude + mindset programming. I enjoyed her listening to her journey. Especially the mention of visualization to block out noise. - Video: Looking at some commonalities among the historic 100-bagger stocks in the last 50 years. Important to understand what price you are paying to acquire the business. But afterwards ignore the ongoing price unless the business' fundamentals change. Then see how the price reflects it's intrinsic value. - Video: Steve Job's 1992 lecture at MIT Sloan. Loved his quick jab at the minimal-value add consultants actually provide to a company. But what was really fascinating was the reason why NeXT chose to be both a hardware + software company. For you need the best hardware product to raise up your average selling price to fund a scalable sales force that can then in turn sell more software products in tandem with the hardware.
